Hi, I'm Molly

It all started in my early 20's with a book titled, Spiritual Midwifery and a traditional midwife in the North Carolina mountains.

I learned that birth can be joyful, pleasurable, full of love and comfort, and that home birth was kind of radical.

My journey started in my early 20s with the book 'Spiritual Midwifery' and a traditional midwife in the North Carolina mountains. Discovering that pregnancy and birth can be joyful, full of home-cooked comfort, and love was revolutionary to my young brain. Attending prenatals in women's homes, sharing meals, and embracing sisterhood felt like coming home to me. Unbeknownst to me, traditional midwifery was part of my heritage - a thread waiting for me to pick up and begin weaving my story into.

Though my story didn't end with traditional midwifery, it was the path that led me to herbalism. Through God's divine intervention, as He closed the door to midwifery, He opened the door to herbal wisdom. I've been learning from the plants (and human teachers) ever since and I don't ever intend to stop. Read more about my education and experience here.
